BELLMER DOLLS were asked by SECRET MACHINES to be opening guests for their headlining gig at the brand new Highline Ballroom in Manhattan, as part of David Bowie's High Line Festival. Naturally, we have enthusiastically accepted. Peter recently recorded Secret Machines at the DOLLHOUSE, BD's studio, and contributed guitar parts as well. The date of the performance is MAY 19th. haha yea. I like the music, I just think it's weird that there seems to be an almost show date war happening now, or maybe I'm looking too much into it... David Bowie invites TSM to play the Highline Festival, Ben leaves TSM, SVIIB gets a show date (as an opening band) the EXACT same night that TSM is playing the festival, and now SVIIB is part of the festival, opening for The Polyphonic Spree? Do you think that Bowie was like, Hey Benjamin, get your band to play? Or do you think Tim Delaughter asked since they obviously know each other.... or do you think Brandon/Josh are pulling for Ben and the Bells?

Now you're making me worry. I hope the brothers are still friends. I drew this picture for them.

If you do a pic search on MSN, the picture of ben and me showed up... that was a few months ago though so it might be different now... i'm gonna check
